Job Summary:

As the IT Manager at Ommio Logistics, you will oversee the companyโ€™s technology infrastructure and lead all IT operations. You will work closely with operations, development, and management teams to ensure systems run smoothly, securely, and efficiently. This is a fully remote role with flexible working hours and opportunities to lead impactful tech projects in a dynamic logistics environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the companyโ€™s entire IT infrastructure (servers, networks, cloud systems).

  • Oversee cybersecurity measures and implement best practices.

  • Lead a team of developers and IT support staff.

  • Collaborate with vendors for software tools, platforms, and system upgrades.

  • Manage ERP, CRM, and logistics platforms used across the company.

  • Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices.

  • Troubleshoot issues, provide technical support, and ensure business continuity.

  • Plan and execute system improvements and migrations.

  • Ensure data privacy and compliance with relevant regulations (GDPR, ISO, etc.).


Requirements:

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in IT management, preferably in logistics or a similar industry.

  • Strong knowledge of network and server administration, cloud systems (AWS, Azure), and cybersecurity.

  • Familiarity with logistics software, ERP, or CRM systems.

  • Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and remotely with cross-functional teams.


Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello).

  • Certifications like CompTIA, Cisco, AWS, or Microsoft.

  • Knowledge of automation tools and system integration.
